As a reminder, our unified storage fees policy will take effect on March 1, 2026. This update is designed to create a more consistent experience across our network by clearly outlining when storage fees begin, how they're calculated, and any exceptions based on shipment location.

For reference, arrival is defined as the time the shipment reaches the destination cargo facility. Notification is sent by email to the email address listed on the air waybill (AWB)
When storage charges are assessed:
• Stations in the states of Alaska and Hawai'i, operated by Alaska and Hawaiian Air Cargo:
o Storage fees will be assessed after five days of arrival at the cargo facility, excluding weekends and recognized holidays.
o Rate: $0.03 per lb
o Minimum charge: $40 per day
